I am very proud to say that our last session of classes offered at Northgate UMC in Irving was a huge success. We had 9 people take the New Basic taught by Cathy Bell and Patti Martin. We did have two people take this class as a repeat to see what the changes offered and were very impressed and complementary of the changes. If it has been a long time since you have taken the Basic class, you might want to take an opportunity to retake it and see for yourself the differences.
We also offered Cultivate Christian Community lead by John Bodnar and Dan Roark. We had 8 in this class. We originally had 10 signed up for this class, but sadly two person’s had to drop out due to a death in the family.

PS 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
We all have loved ones who have had need for prayer. Most of us have received these prayers ourselves and know what a difference it makes when we are supported by the prayers of the faithful. A few years ago, my wife got the unhappy news that her biopsy showed Breast Cancer. When we returned home, she found cards in the mail from people around the country who were praying for her. Although the news was frightening, she knew she was wrapped all around by the love of the family of God. You can only imagine how that affected her heart as she faced her ordeal.
When you have a loved one who needs special prayer, consider submitting their name to ANGELS AMONG US. This group sends lace Angels to your loved one, anonymously. They receive 10 to 20 lacy angelic reminders of our prayers - angels flying in from all over the country and the world.
